Dude, how do we get it to you guys? I've tried to send a SI SSE and it got bounced back. Is there some underground porn railroad?

    Project CARE for U.S. Soldiers

Hi Guys, It's been a while since I've been here, but I'm asking for your help. I'm involved in a project to send care packages to U.S. soldiers overseas. I know you guys like to help each other out and I think these soldiers could use our help as well. Basically, you just go to the post...

    Hello From Austin,Texas!

Thanks so much! I emailed them and the bucket as described will be around $20. I think I'll pick up another primary, too. I currently use a ~6.5 gallon plastic bucket with a tight lid and airlock hole. Do you recommend something else? A glass carboy or better bottle? Thanks!

    Hello From Austin,Texas!

Well, I'm not that sophisticated yet. It's been cool here lately and I've kept the A/C low in my apartment. What do you suggest? So do those fermenters come with the spigot or what do I need to do to attach it somehow? I really do hate the siphon. Lets just say I had a bit of an oatmeal...

    What's your favorite drive-through burger?

If you ever find yourself in Arkansas, you must go to Feltner's. That is a bold statement coming from a Texan.

Carboy Question not found in search

So, in your basic beginner kit is the plastic bucket 6-7 gallons? I think my total cost was around $130 with the glass carboy. Does that mean I have a 5 gallon carboy?

Carboy Question not found in search

Thanks guys. Looks like I'll be making a run to Austin Homebrew for some ingredients. I'm getting impatient waiting on the bottles and need something to do. I know it's worth the wait, but I hate waiting. Damn!:)

Carboy Question not found in search

Ok, at the risk of ridicule I will post this after a search attempt. I am a noob and just brewed my first oatmeal stout and am starting a honey wheat. The stout is bottled and the wheat is in the primary. I have a glass carboy as a secondary but was not going to use it for the honey wheat...
