    Are these bugs?

    Got a couple of cheap kits from NB. Mashing in my grainfather and notice these little white things floating at the top. Upon further review they don't look segmented or anything like a bug. But I can't imagine why there is only a dozen of them if they are just grain kernels? Thoughts? Ps. 9lbs...

    Will this beer ever grow up? I made a big IPA (OG 1.065). I let it ferment in primay for 6 days until the bubbles stopped. I dumped the yeast/trub from my conical to take it to secondary. 14 days later, FG was stable at 1.006 (I was expecting 1.011). I figured it was done. I carbed it up...
