You have got to be kidding me!!!! If it weren't for school resuming, Scout campouts, and three different sports, I would have gotten those beauties milled and brewed with them already!!! I'm hoping for Sunday or next Tuesday. Trust me, I will post all over this place when I do!!!

I mean after I crush and boil them and do all that homebrew stuff with them ;)

Ahhhhhhhhh...gotcha. I went through all of their hops on the website. That's a great deal on Cascade...too bad I just bought a half pound through another online retailer like a month ago...haha.

Everyone above basically said what I was going to say. In retrospect, if I would have studied/prepared more, I would have snagged some great deals on all grain equipment (which could also be used for extract initially) from CL and similar local sale spots. I started off with a Midwest Supplies...

Once I finally brew with some of these @bracconiere grains, I'll keep a scientific log for the keg cool down. Never really gave much thought to it, but it will completely bother me now.

You'll find that to be a quite a realm of multiple opinions. Some say, to be on the safe side, limit the generations to no more than three, but someone will always report success on a tenth generation. If you search this forum, you'll find all kinds of threads with DIY info, links to outside...

Nah, I do believe it was more than likely pinched or dropped, which compromised the bag. The rest of the bag was intact.

Did you complain about the grains spilling out or something? I know I didn't complain. Although while blowing off the front porch yesterday, I noticed several grains on the bricks when I was about to hit it with the blower. Made me chuckle. Proves that it was their fault...haha.

You guys are rough!!! Just so you know, I had a batch planned before I received @bracconiere 's grains...and I'm putting them aside so I can give the best review possible this week! Obviously, I won't know the results for a few weeks...but I'll even try to take pictures so you can see how...
