I have left my pilsner in the secondary for about 2 months, is this okay? Its in a dark place. Can i leave in the secondary for much longer? or is this good?

My lager (which is an extract kit) is in the secondary fermentation at the moment. I havent lagered it yet, because i plan to do this when i bottle. But in the secondary (i have glass demijohns) the lager is looking quite dark an suspiciously ale like.... shouldnt it be a lighter colour? or will...
Bought a bottle of mead with my friend the other day and loved it. Im hoping to make one myself but i was wondering:
Where do i get that much honey from? and do you have to use fruit in mead?

My cider has been bubbling along for the last 4 days, well bubbling alot really. But suddenly yesterday it stopped all together. Is it natural for cider to stop primary fermentation after 4 days, or is something wrong?

Im planning on doing my first cider soon and i need some help.
Im making 4 litres because this is just a test but how much yeast do i need? And will any champagne yeast do? or can i use fruit beer yeast?
Also any links with recipies would be usefull :p

I was cleaning bottles in water and oxyclean but i accidentely left them in there for about three days. Now on the outside and inside of the bottles there is a white power, this comes off by scrubbing but i dont have anything to reach the inside. Any suggestions? and are the bottles still safe...
I know this isnt anything to do with beer, but if there are any distillers here i was wondering if you can tell me how i can measure the proof of the alchohol after i have distilled it and how to change that.... :confused:

Hi i have just started brewing in london, which for a large city has very few brew shops. Im a complete novice who is just about to start his third brew so i have alot to learn :D Also even though this has nothing to do with it, if i was making alcohol in a still how do i make it drinkable?
Hi i was just wondering that if i moved my beer in the secondary fermatation stage (that is in demijohns) to a barrel will it still be okay?
Because a friend of mine said that the beer will go flat and then go off. :confused:
At the moment i do my secondary fermenting in demijohns, i was just wondering if i should buy a barrel to get two brews fermenting at once and the barrel would be much easier to bottle from.
