    Bbq!!!

Well, I've done a 22lb turkey. I've also done 50lbs of pork butt at once. So, unless your trying to feed more than 150 people at once, you should be fine. But, to each his own. A XL would look real nice next to my large if I was made of money.

    Bbq!!!

I did. :mug: When I was looking lots of people recommended against the XL because it had a lot of hot spots. Hopefully that problem has been solved.

A similarly outfitted BGE with the side racks, etc would be a grand. Also your local Home Depot might be selling the "Bubba Keg" for $299.

    Bbq!!!

Check out the "Big Steel Keg" brand smokers. They are a metal BGE clone and they are a lot cheaper.

    Bbq!!!

2 pork butts (20 lbs total) and a 15 lb brisket. Last night the pork was injected with a brine and the beef was injected with a coke, oil, and mustard mix. This morning around 11 they were all rubbed down. One of the pork butts used a mustard slather under the rub and I used mustard on the...

American Pale Ale Bee Cave Brewery Haus Pale Ale

Just wanted to post that this is my house beer. I try to always keep a keg of it around. Problem is that whenever I have friends over, it is always what they drink, regardless of what else I have on tap. Homebrewers and BMC drinkers alike. Just fantastic. Thanks Ed.

Need some help picking an outdoor burner solution for brewing

I've got the double burner version of the Bayou Classic stove shown above. I rigged up a coffee can cut in half as a wind shield. Works great.

    AHS 50 Cent Beers?

Doesn't matter what you call it, but the 1554 clone from AHS is a lager. Make sure you don't get it if you cant do lager fermentations.

    Strange find

Anybody know how Acid was made back in the late 60's and early 70's? Obviously we don't want details posted on this forum, but could that be a really old batch of Acid?

Belgian Blond Ale SWMBO Slayer - Belgian Blonde

So this turned out pretty good. The yeast character of the beer was almost overwhelming though. I'll ferment it a little colder next time and use a different yeast. That being said, it was pretty good and my friends seemed to like it a lot.

Devil May Cry (10.10.10 Edition) - Official Recipe

Why use table sugar? Why not corn sugar? I thought table sugar affected the flavor.

What to do with fresh horseradish?

Make a Prime Rib roast. Then eat it.

    Heating my refrigerator

I've got a cheap space heater that I have planned to hook up to my johnsons's control.

My build, not for the faint of heart

Did you make that top shelf yourself? That is some nice craftsmanship. A tower made out of wood would look really really nice.

Where to buy "stubby" beer bottles?

    Not starsan, Oxyclean.

    Starter Container Size?

I did a 2L starter in a 2L soda bottle. Worked just fine.
