Hi Thanks for the reply. Just to confirm when you said “many people do that” were you referring to brewing with bottled water, or adding Camden tablets to the tap water? Cheers Andy

    Bottled water

Good morning I have a water problem here in Lincolnshire. I have to add Camden tablets to the water to prevent a chemical taste occurring on my finished brew. I’m going to use on my next brew bottled water. Has anyone used bottled water to brew with, and what are your thoughts on this. Cheers Andy

Good evening. Thank you everyone for the advice. On my next brew day I’m going to remove the valve ball and spring prior to mashing and also add rice hulls. How much rice hulls do I need to add as a percentage to the mash load? Cheers Andy

    The grainfather

Good evening. I purchased a grainfather last week. On the first brew the mash stuck. The pump was running but there wasn’t any circulation of the mashing wort. I cleaned it and found the filter to the pump was blocked solid with what I can only describe as sludge. The latest sack of maris otter...

Good morning. The batch I made last evening was 5 gallons. I haven't used the spray malt on this occasion. I would like to try it in my next batch. I enjoyed experimenting with recipies. Spraymalt

I'm at the time of this post doing an all grain style wheat beer. I've purchased 500g bag of Spraymalt. Wheat. It states on the packet 'great for all traditional wheat beer styles' Also a replacement for sugar in your brewing. However after a bit of research it appears Spraymalt is an ingredient...

    The beer is flat!

Thanks for all the replys. It was a leaking top. I've replaced it. Re primed the brew with 2oz of sugar and blasted some co2 into the keg. Tested it with a draw off. All lively and tasted just as nice.
