    I am using a cooler mash tun. I put a heating pad under the cooler and leave it on low. It seems to hold its temp just fine that way.

    I was using a chest freezer to keep my kegs and had party taps attached to 15ft hoses. Recently I added a collar and 2 tap handles with the same 15ft hoses. The problem now is that my pours are nearly all foam. I am running at 20psi. What do I gotta do to fix this? TIA

    So I am making M-80 this weekend and some of the hops go in at the last 2 minutes. I always pull the hop bag out when it's time to start cooling down, but should these hops come out too? I was thinking I could put them in another sock and leave them in longer or let them float and try to catch...

    I was just trying to get the most cooling out of the ice, I can see how the melted ice would pull away from the coils and be less effective. How about adding salt to the water?
