    so, as i always do - i forgot to order two w-34 packets for my 5g maibock - im boiling now and i do happen to have an extra s-23 laying around - what do you all think about pitching both yeasts in my maibock?

    no answers? - not that this post is being watched 2 years later BUT, yes, the pig does take about a week to age and prime and the pouch only provides some even pressure for dispensing the beer - priming sugar is need to carbonate a party pig - be sure to read the instructions because LESS...

    got a feeling i'm going to be putting together Frankenstein with the help of McMaster-Carr http://www.mcmaster.com/ if anyone has done this and has any suggestions, let me know and if I find somethign that works I'll do that same... like i said i'll probably try to put something together from...

    yall my digital thermometer failed and gave my 15F higher readings than it should - i'm curretnly mashing at 130F for about 30min - i aimed for 150F, can i just add hot water, raise temp, and mash for my 75min at 150 and be ok? im brewing as we speaking - thinking about dumpiing it if i don'...

    I just added a second silicone gasket to the inside, under the SS washer as well due to leakage
