    Glycerin in a lambic?

    I used Safale 05 yeast for fermentation. Basically if I can stop the fermentation I will be able to add sugar instead of lactose (which is a bit pricy) to sweeten the beer.

    Ok, so I am fairly cheap and impatient. I brewed up 5 gallons of a lambic using a sour mash technique. I want to keg then bottle because the yeast I used is highly flocculant plus I want to make sure to carb it just right. Also I will need to sweeten this so I am thinking about adding...

    I Found Some Looza Blackcurrant 'Nectar'...what now?

    How did this turn out? I am looking at doing something very similar to a lambic I have started. I have 10 gallons of an ale that I soured during the mash. I want to add rasperries to one and black currant to the other. If you could tell me the proportions you used it would be a big help.

    Thanks for the info. I used 2 whirlfloc tablets @ 20 mins. When I took the gravity it was increadibly clear. I wonder if i should have just used one tablet. Are there any adverse effects to using too much whirlfloc? BTW this was a 10 gal. batch. It looks awesome right now, I can't wait to...

    Is it ok to add whirlfloc to this recipe? I am in the process of beginning the boil right now so a quick response would be much appreciated.

    Is There Any Way to Fix my Bayou Classic Burner?

    Has anybody had any luck with cleaning their burners? I have exactly the same problem. I tried soaking in oxyclean, but the problem persists, I think I will give the air compressor a try and some pipe cleaner too.
