    Pale Ale Critique - what would you change, and why

    If I like the mesh/mix of the hops I am either going to bump up the hops and the grain (for around 8%) and might bring Galena hops into the mix. This recipe is the start of trying to reel myself in from using 1+ pounds of hops every brew.

    I know one brewery that actually filters out their yeast and introduces a new yeast for bottling. To the OP, now that's a cold crash, and I am glad it worked out in the end. How much yeastie is the beer, or is it truly like a wheat?

    Hurry up and wait...what you do while waiting for the mash, boil, etc....

    get everything else ready to go, make sure the valves are clean, reclean the kettle, set up the hoses and pumps, then play video games, leave the house, play with kids, etc for the other 45+ minutes. I also might start while wfh, get it going, then finish up the work day.
