    Whats your favorite IPA yeast?

Started out making Stone IPA clones with 1968 - made great beer but I wanted a drier finish. Ran with 1272 for many batches - highly recommended. Last few have been with San Diego Super - cleaner, drier.

    Another Question about BIAB

The other important piece that is not being discussed here is water volume. Find a good BIAB calculator, measure accurately and save your data. Efficiency cannot be accurately calculated without accurate volume measurement, especially strike water needed, and volume of ambient wort.

How to calculate ration of dry hops ?

Don't worry too much about exact hop amounts for dry hopping. Usually, 1-2 oz (30-60g) for 3-5 days after fermentation is complete will work.

How has your brewing mindset changed since you started?

As the above posters pointed out - simpler is better. I concentrate on variations in hops and yeast to keep things interesting. I also no longer obsess about my numbers - I know my process and no longer measure pH, gravity into boil, mash volume, volume of ambient wort... he only reason I...
