I never even thought of looking for March parts, its good to know though. That teflon washer is easy to lose if you're not looking for it.
A single wrap of tape was all it took on mine, just enough to take up the play between the shaft and impeller.
I had the same issue. Its caused by the impeller sitting loose on the shaft. I couldn't find parts anywhere aside from buying a whole new head. I ended up putting a thin wrap of teflon tape around the shaft and sliding the impeller back over it. Its been pumping away quietly ever since.

After reading this: http://www.birkocorp.com/brewery/white-papers/keg-cleaning/ I started doing the acid wash first followed immediately with PBW with no rinsing in between. Its been working pretty well. PBW should be rinsed with water before it can dry otherwise it will leave deposits.
