    Ohio Tri clover 3way valve

    Water volume

    Just finished my rims system. Use brewsmith software for my brew day guide. It wants me to spare the mash. I assume I do not need to do this since I am circulating. My question is how much water do I use in my circulating mash. Should I use the pre boil volume the software gives?

    Rims question

    I am in the process of designing a rims system to build. The first of many questions I have is, will my 1/2 copper manifold I use in my 10 gallon cooler work in my updated mash tun to draw the wort through to recirculate? Can any Rims users share their ideas or what they use. Thanks

    Manifold pipe size?

    Why is everyone using 1/2 inch copper instead of 3/4 copper to make their manifolds? Is it a price thing or a flow problem I am not thinking of. Thanks

    I am fermenting a kolsch with wlp029 yeast. It has been page ring for 10 days and I am about ready to bottle it. Do I need to warm it back up to the primary fermenting temp of 60 before I bottle it?
