Has anyone of you tried the Minesweeper IPA from Alvarado Street Brewery in Monterey, CA? I really like it, and wondering if any experienced homebrewer here has tried to clone it. So far, I couldn't find any recipe for it online.
The way I see it, both recirculate wort during mash using heating element to maintain a constant temperature. Why would there be a limitation in brutus 20 due to sugar saturation but none in rims?
I'm new to homebrew. I buy a Bayou Stainless 24 quart pot, and try to boil 3 gallons of water on my electric kitchen stove. The pot vibrates vigorously!! I wonder if it happens to anyone of you. I have other stainless pots (16 & 20 quarts) which have tri-plys bottom, and they never vibrate.
