    Thanks was looking at there web site , but there isn't anything on calender coming up. Job I have will take up most of my time plus moving into an apartment so won't be able to brew big batches like I normally do. Have purchased a couple kits to take with me.

    Best scale for real small measurements.

    Thanks gives me some great Ideas. Just need to be real accurate because trying to work on a recipe by adding to 1 gallon at a time.

    Best scale for real small measurements.

    I did a search on here and online trying to find a scale that will give me accurate measurements. I have a large and small manul scale but I was trying to weight 1/2 of small cinnamon stick and didn't even move it. Want to be as accurate as I can. Any ideas of scale that will go that low?

    About 2 years ago maybe longer Blue Rhino went around and picked up all tanks considered 20 lb and replaced them with 15lb tanks.     10 gallon batches

    On my last batch 1 is choco stout the other plain stout works great to play. Also a few batches ago did oatmeal raisin in 5 left the other 5 plain. Like both. To each his own.

    Cracking Coriander

    I use baggies and rolling pin, but you might want to control how crushed you get. I have a wit that I crushed really hard and the coriander was overpowering but it has set for 4 months and is right on now. Good luck

    I try to buy a years 2 row supply and pilsner at 1 time. keeps my cost down as have to drive aways to pick up grain. average 250 lbs of 2 row 50 lbs pilsner.     Ants are everywhere!

    diatomaceous earth works great on ants won't harm your hops. Put it on the ground around the plants and they won't be climbing on them any more. I hate ants i sprinkle this around the foundation of my house I don't normaly get ants. Give it a try. Not expensive and works for me.
