Bought an extract kit from B3 for their Alt recipe. It had steeping grains and supposedly 8lbs of light LME. When I made the recipe the OG was 1.030. As you might expect I was stunned. I then checked the hydrometer with water and it came out at exactly 1.000.

Yesterday I finished brewing a full boil IPA. Pitched last night at about 72F. Went to the basement to check on it and found that there were 2 cloudy/milky balls of yuk just below the surface. This is my 11th homebrew and have seen nothing like this.
Any thoughts???
