    like i said, it was an experiment only, and i wouldn't have used bread yeast at all, but i was looking though the JOAM recipe and figured it might work out... and it just happened to... i will definetly look for the recipe for that apple based whine though... that sounds good.

    I have been searching for this very answer all dang day... you guys are awesome. one question though is that in wikipedia it says that it is a good barrier even for alcohol however says requires additional treatment.. under uses about 1/8 of the way down the page...

    I am thinking maybe i should leave half of the brew in hard lemonade form, and the other half experiment with the raspberry thing... 10lbs of raspberries and 5 gallons of hard lemonade would be a pretty sad mix to dump down the drain if things go south... and if the raspberry mix is crappy...

    i will definetly check that book out... is there a glossary on here or something showing what all of the commonly used terms are? i keep seeing them, and not being 100% familiar it would be helpful. like the initials and abbreviations and what not

    Hey ya'll, so i am sick of this crappy weak utah beer and expensive prices at the liquor store, so i have decided to brew some of my own. most interested in some Mead and some honey wheat brews.
