    mini kegs and champagne bottles priming

    i have a batch of weissen ready to bottle, and i am using three 5l mini kegs. but for the rest of the batch i am using 750ml champagne bottles, how much corn sugar should i put in each bottle?

    will the cardboard like flavor go away if i allow extra time for conditioning, and will the scortched flavor and cardboard like flavor ruin my beer completely? i dont wanna bottle/keg another batch and end up having nasty beer.

    Sparkling Apfelwein in Champagne bottles

    i am bottling apfelwein in 12 champagne bottles this weekend. the rest will be still. I want to sweeten this a little, do you think i should use maltodextrin or lactose? which one do you think will taste better?

    A keg set up would be a great idea for hard lemonade and hard iced tea. but i was under the impression that it is expensive. also what should i use to sweeten apfelwein so that it can be carbed in champagne bottles?

    Malkore's (not so) Ancient Orange Mead

    I made a similar batch, i made one gallon, used 1 orange 2lbs honey 1 clove 1 cin stick and lalvin d47 yeast. It fermented out to 8% and it has no sweetness at all to it. I was thinking about racking into a secondary and add a pound of honey. any advice?

    sweetening sparkling wine

    i have a few recipes that i would like to carbonate and sweeten at the same time, but i am unsure exactly how to do that. i dont want to use splenda because i personally hate the stuff. i cant use any type of fermentable sugar because that will be used for priming. any advice on what i should do?

    Hard Iced Tea

    it definitely has a wine taste to it considering the yeast that i used. i am experimenting with different yeasts to see what works best in keeping the iced tea taste and feel. I did keep some of this unsweetened and I backsweetened with iced tea, tastes pretty good.
