Nothing can grow in the freezer. No need to sanitize.

I like to rinse with water then freeze in a ziplock. No need use a cleaner. Just bring straight from the freezer and drop it in the hot water before use.

I use a stc 1000 to control mash temps. I dont over shoot mash temps either.
