Getting my brew from point A to point B

+1 on UPS the people who would actually be handling your package on the off chance it opened are not going to care what is in it. I unload trucks for ups and if we come across a package that is open we tape it back up and send it on its way. If it is leaking from broken bottles, like Austin said...

Should I open a Supply Shop?

How many HB shops are in KC and are they any good? Your close enough to KC that if there arent any good supply shops people will drive out there. Make sure you rinse WELL if you use bleach. If there is even a trace of bleach off-flavors will ensue.

can you tell me if my brew looks good? (pics)

Looks good to me. You can see all those proteins settling in the top pic and 12 hours later you can see the krausen beginning to form and most of the break has settled to the bottom. Enjoy the brew!

Sierra Nevada bottles are for unpleasants

Good lord I know what you mean. All of O'Fallon's labels are like that. It seems like the damn things are spot welded onto the bottle. The best bet with those is soak them for a LOOOONG time in HOT water and use a sturdy scrubby. Or just say F#&@ it and leave the labels on. On a side note I have...
