    Idiot mistake

Whew. That's a relief! Thanks for the comments. I'll keep my fingers crossed I guess. No way to really know for sure or not I presume until it continues to ferment, right? Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

    Idiot mistake

So, I just brewed an expensive batch of Little Sumpin Sumpin clone on Saturday. Super excited about this brew! All OG readings were on point and ready to go to primary.. Well, I aerated the wort, and pitched my yest and closed the lid. Popped my airlock on with water, set at fermentation temp...

    Pitching additional yeast

You think I should be at 1.012 in two more days (since yesterday was day 7)? Or you think it'll take another 9-10 days from now? First All Grain (w/o the proper kettle size)

Thanks.. I DID NOT end up with 5 gallons.. its still in secondary, and max going to keg will be 4 gallons.. That part of beersmith that shows 5 gals final batch size was auto populated. But, the OG reading was accurate, unless something was noted wrong from my hydrometer reading. I agree.. I...

First All Grain (w/o the proper kettle size)

Hello! I've been a member of this forum for a long time and constantly troll/search for answers to most of my questions without having to post them again. Its been invaluable! Thanks to all the community.. But, I'm a new homebrewer (about 4-6 months) and I've quickly worked on building my...
