Is it too late for these Hops?

I am wondering if, I still have a harvest or if they are too far gone. I'm pretty sure the mostly brown ones are bad, I'm just not sure on the pale green/yellow ones. If I do harvest do I still need to dry them? Thanks,Whacked

    Adding yeast for bottling

I am about to bottle a cider that I made, about 6-7 months ago. I am going to use a gallon of apple juice for primer. Is there still enough yeast to make the cider sparkiling? If I need to add yeast wjat type and how much? This will make a 5 gal batch. I used Wyeast cider yeast.

    Cyser

I made a Cyser about a week ago and today I went to step feed it. Before I feed it, I took a sample and a reading. It looks like it did not ferment at all. The apple juice I bought said it was just apple juice. Did they lie to me and put sulfates in it? Bad yeast (Wyeast sweet mead)? Give...

New to Kegging and dunno where to start.

I just recently purchased two used cornie ball lock kegs from some one that used to make the Home sodas. After looking them over they seem to be in fair condition but need a thorough cleaning. Other than that I do not know what I should do? The kegs have been sitting for a couple of years...

    DIY Wort Chiller / Supplies

I am starting to get all the parts I need to make an immersion wort chiller. While I was shopping around I came across an ACO hardware. They are going out of business and being bought out by ACE and have deeply discounted their stuff. I was able to score some 50' of 3/8" copper tubing for...

    Under pitched!

I think I under pitched my last brew. It has been a week and I am wondering if it's too late to add more yeast. I made a midwest supplies Hank's Heffeweizen extract kit. The OG was supposed to be 1.060 and I got it to 1.080 with the addition of blood oranges. I used the Wyeast Weizen yeast...

    First wort completed

Did my first batch last night. I would say overall it went pretty well but not without a few hiccups. Was following along the steps in Palmer's How to Brew in the first chapter. First one I don't think is that big of a deal but I started the yeast when I got to the step but did not realize...

    New Brewer

I just picked up my starter and recipe kit and just waiting for my brew pot to arrive, so that I can start off this hobby. I live in Michigan and where the apples and cider flows almost freely. So with that said my first intention with home brewing was to start making cider then I noticed it...
