    Bottle conditioning

    My basment is around 60F during the winter, am I going to get effective bottle carbination down there? I currently use 1 cup corn sugar and 3/4 cup water to carbonate the beer. Im also thinking about trying dme, seeing as how most of you guys use that. How much dme would you use at this temp?

    Keeping your fermentation warm

    How do you keep your fermenting buckets warm during the winter? I live in minnesota and my basement might be in the 50's. I was thinking about filling a tub with water and using a fish tank heater in it.

    Reuse trub from primary or secondary

    Ive read a lot about reusing trub. I really dont want to use the trub from the primary becuase I dont want to bring extra stuff like malt or hops. Does anyone know if the trub in the secondary is acceptable?

    When to change to secondary

    I know the rule of thumb is to rack your beer to the secondary after 1 week. This is the first time ive used the liquid wyeast and im still getting a bubble in my airlock once every 4 seconds. Its been exacly one week, shoud I put it in the secondary tonight?

    Aging

    Hello, im new to homebrewing as you can see from my post count. For beers that need time to age any given amount of time, can you age it in the secondary(glass carboy) or is it better to age in bottles under compression.
