We use iodophor to flush the fluid line after each use. The filler tube is cleaned and sanitized before and after each use. You also have to consider the overflow (whether you stick with the regulator or go with a 1/4 turn ball valve like we did for maintaining back pressure) The overflow needs...

Removed the std pressure regulator and replaced it with a 1/4 turn ball valve with a drain hose. Much faster fills and backpressure can be controlled with a quick ball valve adjustment. Also allows a quick pressure bleed before removing the bottle eliminating face spray. :-)...

Not that there is anything wrong with a Blichmann Beer Gun but if you do enough bottling you know pulling that trigger after a few cases gets to be pretty old. So I researched the CP fillers. I wanted to be able to "free hand" the fill and be able to do 12 or 22 oz bottles during the same run...

Sounds like a pull down resistor circuit may be what you need. Do a goggle search for "pull down resistor"... lots of example diagrams on the web.Just make sure your current load for your valves isn't more than what your SSR is capable of handling. Sent from my GT-P5113 using Home Brew mobile app

We just made the change from propane to NG on our flat rack system. With two BG14's and one BG10. The conversion for the BG14's required a .120" main orifice for a clean burn. With the proper orifice size you will get just about the same level of heat from your burner... the BG14 is more than...

So the 15 gallon pots are all done... one of the advantages is having that big ole mash tun for the high gravity 5 gallon recipes! Here we are just boiling a 5 gallon recipe of our Imperial Rum Stout which has a 20 lb grain bill. :cross: A crowd favorite at last year's AHA Big Brew in Grand...
