https://www.homebrewtalk.com/forum/threads/how-to-add-permanent-volume-markings-to-a-kettle-illustrated.463099/ if you use AC rather than DC I understand that it will result in dark etching rather than light

    Tilt Bluetooth Hydrometer Detailed Review

I use a pair of the original ones and they really opened up my eyes to my fermentation process. Previous to them I took samples the same way you describe but with these I have been able to package my beers much quicker. I too have cooled conicals, with my Brewometer/Tilt I can observe the huge...

DIY glycol chilled plastic conical fermenters

in 90* heat in the summer, my ac kicked on about every 4 hours for 30 min with one 14g fermenter with 10g of beer in it. i tried coldcrashing at 35* and the ac never kicked off in 6 hours midday, but my fermentors dont have an insulating jacket yet either. i halfass cold crash at ~45* until i...

    Glycol Chiller

I made mine: $50 on an AC, ~$20 on the cooler, ~$30 sealing supplies (I went overboard), $30 pump, and the plumbing hardware that I went nuts with. Keeps up with 2 fermentors and can cold crash. I would build one again if I ever need something bigger

GFCI trips when I connect anything to it

i may be totally wrong (not even close to an expert), but if it is a GFCI, shouldnt the ground be connected to the breaker rather than the neutral? edit: ignore the above, but a quick search looks like you should have another neutral wire going to the breaker so it can compare current between...
