I added 3.75oz of priming sugar to about 2 cups of water after it's been boiled and cooled. Then I auto siphon my beer into a bottling bucket pouring the primer in slowly. I fill my bottles using a tipped bottle filler.
9 days ago I bottled 5 gallons of a 8.1 abv IIPA using 3.75oz of dextrose and it still hasn't finished carbonating. Is this normal with higher abv beers?
