    Waxing wine bottles

    So I've got a batch of dandelion wine that ill be wanting to bottle pretty soon. I've collected enough bottles, and I thought that it would look neat to put some wax over the tops. But I've also read that for wine to age, it actually sucks air in through the cork somehow. I don't want to ruin...

    Covering the primary

    So I've noticed that a lot of the recipes for making wine say to leave in the primary 5-7, or 3-5 days or some variation.. They say to cover during that time, does that mean tight with an airlock, or just cover to keep flies etc out. Thanks
