    I've been doing the same thing, taking old bottles from work for apfelwien. If you are looking for a larger bottle that will hold carbonation, try used champagne bottles. I don't know if you guys serve any champagne at the golf course, but there should be no reason the bottle won't work since...

    Small Bottles??

    You could always use champagne splits. I know at the bar I work at we sell Korbel in little 187 ml bottles, and instead of being corked they are capped. They also have the benefit of being dark glass, so you won't have to worry about skunking.

    Lager Recipe With Ale Yeast?

    Thanks for all the help, I'll see if they have that yeast at my LHBS, and if not how long it will take to get here if I ordered it. If it's too long I might just use an ale yeast and see what happens since Papazian actually says you can interchange yeasts when he introduces his recipe section...
