    Fruit to carboy miscalc

    I brewed a 5 gal batch of a belgium wit thats was supposed to be racked onto 5 lbs of peaches...i did everything correct except take into consideration the amount of space the peaches took up in my carboy...i now have half a batch on top of the peaches with the second half of the batch still in...

    Blowout

    I brewed last night and checked the fermentator and the airlock was bubbling nicely... I went back a few hours later to find the fermentor lid half open and the airlock filled with wort. Also a nice little mess to clean up. I resealed the lid but what should my next step be. Please help!!!

    Back sweetening

    I am currently embarking on a challenge to make a fruit beer that my non beer drinking gf will enjoy. I am new to the process of brewing and from everythin ive read the only way to get a sweeter and more than just a hint of the fruit in the beer is by backsweetening. This is a new term for me...

    Grain/ Hop shelf life

    Am new to all grain and was wondering how long my leftover grain and hops will be good for? Should i vacuum seal them or leave them in the ziplock bags they came in? Thanks!
