    mold in Saison Dregs?

    About 8 months ago, I collected some yeast dregs from a bottle of Saison. When I brew, I usually dump the trub into a sterile mason jar and store in the fridge. Wait for a few hours and use the clear wort to feed my collected yeast. I noticed today, the Saison yeast dregs has a white globs...

    Reading a refractometer; clear line with distilled water; fuzzy line with beer

    I have the same problem when making wine. Just turn the refractometer upside down and it should clear up the fuzzies. Just give a few seconds.
