    Note to self-don't store fireworks in the oven

    OK, so maybe not fireworks,but my drying hops on cookie sheet. Very sad times today. My first year cascades put out about 8-9 oz wet. My second harvest of 4 oz was drying on a cookie sheet over night. I figured they'd be safe in the oven where i had warmed them to about 100 degrees last night...

    Is that a funnel cake in my carboy!?!

    This past weekend I racked my GreenFlash IPA into my carboy to clear and to dry hop after 3 weeks in the primary. It now has a couple ounces of hops in there, but even stranger is the bizarre creature growing up from the bottom. I've never seen anything like this. It has parts at least 4 inches...
