Anvil Foundry 18 gallon brewing system

I do realize LODO is a thing. Personally the effort to achieve a real LODO process thrashes the fun out of being for me. I got nothing against it and I'm sure amazing beers really from the process. I'm just not interested in the journey down that rabbit hole.

Anvil Foundry 18 gallon brewing system

I'll be doing a 5 gallon batch. If you watch the first look video it shows all the dimensions. Yes there is a lip you can see it in the video. Yes it is the same camera I use for live streams. The GFCI video has alternate links in the description. The vendor has more on order. 👍🍻

    Fermenator G4

So far I've been happy with mine. The lid seal was problematic. (Over 10 psi) But they have redesigned it and are sending out updated seals for early models. I was able to ferment, carbonate, and can some beer right from the fermenter.

Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

I've done a video on BrunDog's design. I did adapt it to all in one systems but the principals are all the same. Thanks to @BrunDog for the awesome idea on this!

No False bottom with a brewbag and Blichmann boilcoil setup

I have been wanting to try this for quite a while now. I've read recommendations on brewbag with the boilcoil and everyone says to turn off the element and let the bag rest for the duration of the mash. I decided to not listen to that advice and do a full volume recirculation BIAB with the brew...

Power cord with inline 240V GFI protection

Yeah the extension cord is twist lock and the gfci pigtail is straight blade. It could be changed on the pigtail but that is a little work.

    Fermenator G4

Yep your point is valid. The only downside to using a corny is you can't really dump any trub or harvest the yeast while the beer is still in the keg. Of course if that doesn't matter then who cares. Use your corny and brew on!! How much yield are you getting?

    Fermenator G4

While I have not used it yet, I don't think it will be difficult at all. Not any more of a pain than having a butterfly valve on a racking arm for the sample. Blichmann makes a MFL quick connect that will screw right on.

New product from Brewers Hardware Dry Hopper

There is a second 1.5" tri-clamp port on the spike flex plus and it clearly states on the lid of the flex not to pressure ferment without a PRV installed. As far as implosion. I've never had a vessel reach negative pressure when cold crashing. Not to say it couldn't happen I've just never had it...

New product from Brewers Hardware Dry Hopper

See it here I had actually been thinking about building one of these. Definitely a great solution for lower to no oxygen dry hopping for pressure capable and non pressure capable fermenters.

    Anvil Crucible - Conical Fermentor

I highly recommend it. The dual voltage ability as well as a true PID controller make it a solid option. some people don't like the external pump but I actually like it if it gets clogged it's really easy to clean.
