    Adding orange peel to primary

I just bottled a batch of beer that I put lemon, limes, and oranges. I peeled them down with out leaving any white of the peel as the white will leave a bitter. I then soaked the peels over night in vodka then added the peels with the vodka as the vodka extracts alot of the flavor. When I...

    1st batch

I'm going to Jack this thread for a second since you all are talking about priming sugar and 1st batch. I just bottled my first batch as well and I dump the priming sugar into the bucket and mixed up fairly well. I noticed after I finished everything that the instructions said to boil 16 ounces...

    Secondary with lime

I am doing a 5 gallon batch and I only put 1 lime in it in hopes for just a small hint of flavor and it doesn't get to bitter. And when I added the orange peels I did 2 oranges so hopefully it will over power the lime.

    Secondary with lime

So I am working on a batch of beer right now which I have added lemon lime and orange to it. I was told to cut the fruit down to the peel including as much of the white part as possible. You don't want to do the whole fruit cut up cause you risk getting the pulp mixed in with the beer. I then...

    Refrigeration after bottling?

How long do you have to wait after bottling for the beer to be carbonated?

OMG Why have I not done this earlier.

I made an immersion wart chiller with 20 feet of 3/8 inch flexible copper which hooked up right to my faucet and I had no problem chilling my wart down to 80 degrees within 10 minutes.
