    Trip to Tampa soon

Yea, the beer selection is excellent. The couple of times I have gone to the Lukens, it had a couple here and there that Total Wine didnt have though. But overall, my go-to beer store is Total Wine.

    Trip to Tampa soon

Local place here called Rapp is growing in popularity. A couple guys there are at the cutting edge of brewing. They will try anything and a lot of them are good. 7th Sun is in an area of Dunedin that has a couple breweries. Dunedin Brewery is one. I have a Lukens right up the road from me...

    My 3-keg Keezer build

Tap handles I made with chalkboard paint. Not exactly how I imagined them but they are functional and work well.

    My 3-keg Keezer build

Yea, I left it open. I may give it more however just to be safe.

    My 3-keg Keezer build

This is my keezer build that I did recently. On a trip to Scotland\Ireland I was drinking at a pub (as you do there) and noticed the nice woodwork and I was also paying attention to the marks and dents and wondered the story behind them. So I stained and varnished my keezer like the one I saw...

    Not a bad idea

    DIY Tap Handle?

Correct. I am doing the nut and bolt method and still no dice. I thought for sh!ts and grins I would try on pine. No problem. Perfectly straight. Oak it just too hard for these I guess. Ill get by with some epoxy then and try that.

    DIY Tap Handle?

So I have these little guys I am trying to use them in 2X2X10 oak. I pre-drill with 1/2" drill bit and try to insert them however I am struggling with getting them to go in straight. Additionally, I dont think they are actually screwing in rather they are just boring out the hole. Perhaps oak...

Belgian Dark Strong Ale Westvleteren 12 Clone - Multiple Award Winner

Been looking for a good Westy recipe for a while now. Am trying this one soon. I did a Belgian tour and was able to go to the Abby (even did the mass with the monks) then headed over to the store and got 2 six pack gift sets of the 12. There is never a guarantee you can get the 12 if you go...

    Best Belgian Triple Kit

The Piraat Ale recipe out of the 2nd Edition of the Clone Brew book is pretty darn good (Page 360-361). I just bottled my 2nd batch of this just this past weekend.:mug:

    First time Labic

I am not on here much so I forgot to report back. Unfortunately I had to dump this. Is was terrible. I was sour but there was little to no sweetness to offset that. It was undrinkable. I dont think I will be tackling this again. Ill stick to Belgians from here on out. Stick to what...

    Any recipes for sangria?

+1 on the Orange Sangria kit. My wife made it twice and turned out great both times. We have had it by itself but also once ice with fruit and its great either way.

Wood chips soaked in dark rum

Yea, I shouldn't have said chips. They are the toasted cubes. I am a HUGE fan of Innis and Gunn's rum-cask Scottish ale. Trying to come as close as I can. Will be sure to update. I bought the cubes already toasted. I then took a clear wine bottle, sanitized it, added about 2oz of cubes then...

Wood chips soaked in dark rum

Brewing a Scottish Wee Heavy. Threw in a couple oz's of toasted oak chips into secondary that I have been soaking in dark rum. They were soaking for a couple months so should be good to go. Will be bottling next weekend. Let you know how it turns out :mug:

    First time Labic

Ok, good to hear. I have only opened it once in the 3 months its been sitting there. I usually dont like opening it up for obvious reasons like you pointed out.

    First time Labic

Hello All... First time here. I made an all-grain Lambic (my first) and needed some input on what I am seeing here. This is 3 months into fermentation. I used Wyeats Lambic for this. I assume this is normal considering the nature of the yeast\bacteria in Lambic but wanted to make sure...
