    First brew went great.... UNTIL!!!

    I'm very happy to report that upon checking in on my fermenter this evening, we are bubbling away at nice controlled but steady rate! Guess you guys were right and the tbsp or so wasn't anything to worry about. Now for the hard part, waiting a month to try some! I am now an official airlock...

    1/2" 25 ft SS wort chiller

    I just built my own chiller with 20ft of 3/8 copper tubing, 10ft of vinyl hose, a garden hose fitting and some hose clamps.     So I just got done boiling up my very first batch and putting it in the fermentation bucket, then went to install the airlock (filled with easy clean no rinse sanitizer) into the lid and like an idiot I had my hand over the top which forced some sanitizer down into the bucket.
