    Monin syrup

    I was wondering if anyone ever used monin syrup in anything they made? I work in a resturant and use like 7 different flavors there. the ingredents for the wild raspberry are,pure cane sugar, water, natural and artifical ras flavor, citric acid, potassium sorbate (preservative) FD&C red#40.

    Brewing inside

    Is it ok to brew my beer in my kitchen? I use the vent fan but have an under 2yo daughter and wanna make sure its ok. Should I buy a single burner propane set up and if so does anyone know a good one?

    Air in beer

    So I racked into my secondary tonight after 2 weeks in primary. racking cane had a crack in it and got air into the beer, mouth siphoned it much as I could but it looks like it did a week ago (cloudy) got it cold crashing right now on my patio but have no idea what will happen to it????

    Real dumb question

    Reading a lot and trying to figure out what mead recipe I want to try. so the dumb question I have is- in everyones recipes the sugar added has a # after it , does that mean lbs? #=lbs ? that seems right but im new at this :confused:

    Mr beer w/a airlock?

    im new to brewing but would like to brew a small mead batch to try it out. I have a mr beer 2 gal. was thinking about putting a air lock in top of it maybe using some plumers tape to seal the big screw on top. any feed back or a good 2 gal recipe?:mug:

    Freaking out

    ok so I brewed a batch of american cream ale tuesday night. everything went great 6 gallon carboy primary.yeast active instant, wed night air lock blew off so put an overflow tube on. bubbled all night, thursday morning no more sound or bubbles I could see so went to investigate. temp was around...

    Air lock blow off

    So when I was at work tonight my air lock blew off my primary, just brewed it last night. my wife said she heard it around 7 and I got home around 10 and put a cap with a hose into a bucket on it. did I screw up my brew? there was a towel over it so my place is not covered thank god.:rockin::rockin:
