The tri clamp heating element is awesome I would definitely go that route.

What's the best way to clean up some welds?? I do have a dremel and a grinder but afraid if I use the grinder ill take to much off and be screwed. I figured I could get in there with the dremel and clean it up a bit but what kind of attachments would I use. Maybe a 80 grit flapper wheel Or...

Will this repasivate or do I need to grind it down so it's shiny then repasivate? Looks like he kinda grinded the top but the bottom he couldn't see he figured was good enough I guess.

So a question. I started scrubbing on the inside with bkf last night. Do I need to do the outside of the weld also or just the inside? If I do the outside should I buff it first then repasivate?:confused: Also is there a way to know its pasivated? I don't want to put my coil in the hlt and...

So I found a local guy in town that did all my welds for free :rockin: This is what they look like. I know not the best looking but for free you can't beat the price:ban: I figure I hit all the inside with bkf and I should be good. All the welds on the insure look about the same.

So question Up top where you put your brewery name. Will u be able to put a graphic or will it be text only. I made a logo with my brewery name in the logo and would like that on it as well. Is that possible???:rockin:

What pump do you use? I've read a couple other posts that say the chugger and the march don't have enough snort to do a whirlpool??

So this is what the weld looks like from the inside. Is it back purged? On my next weld would I be better off having them stick the ferrule through a bit then welding instead of welding to the surface of the keg??
