I am going to be in Charlotte for a week next month (for work) and figured I would ask the North Carolina homebrewers for recommendations on the best local brewpubs or bars that have great selections of microbrews or local beers. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! :mug:

Just began the simultaneous brew session between myself (MA) and a good friend in GA. We thought it would be a cool idea to brew the same exact recipe at the same time...only about 1,100 miles apart. Just another example of how homebrew brings folks together! :mug:

Just stopped by a local home brew store - The Homebrew Emporium (their Weymouth location). Talked with one of the guys there - Rick - really nice guy. Looking forward to my next visit and to do some more shopping! :ban:

Took a few years off from home brewing, but am happy to be back. Started brewing back in the early 90's and love the hobby! I brewed a Brown Ale in honor of a friend who passed away a few weeks ago and just moved it to the secondary tonight. Looks like it is going to come in around 5.5% abv...
