False Bottom - A Better Deal?

If you want super cheap. Go to your local thrift store and buy a stainless lid for a old pan for a couple of bucks. Spend a couple more on a drillbit and go to town. Could be done for about 5 bucks.

How do I covert a cheap bayou propane stove, to NG?

Check with Williams brewing. I think I saw something in their catalog about a conversion kit or valve/orfice. Good Luck.

Argg car trouble, anyone have any idea?

First off I mainly work on Fords. This time of year I would make sure there is not any small stones or gravel stuck in the bottom of the coil spring. Sometimes they will make a creaking or popping noise as the spring compresses. Also if you can make the noise while bouncing on the fender...

    Brewery names--what's your story?

Burnt Bottom Brewery I couldn't help it after I opened up the 3 banjo burner boxes. Oh my poor polished keggles. :cross::drunk::cross:

    propane burner types and source?

It looks like the burner height is adjustable with your stand and the banjo burner. Do you have a prefered distance for the burner top and the bottom of the keggle? I guess that I will have to take the keggle skirt in consideration. My single tier plan is still on the drawing board. Thanks...

    propane burner types and source?

The 10 inch banjo burners can not be mounted just by the gas pipe. I just received 3 of them yesterday. They have 3/8 flare fittings on them and they weigh close to 20 pounds each. They do have 4 mounting tabs around the burner and they come with bolts. These things are HUGE......

What breweries/brew pubs should we see (west coast)?

Widmer Bros brewery and resturant is right under the elevated section of I-5 and the 405 intersection. They give tours sometimes so contact them in advance. So keep a little extra time when you pass thru Portland. The freeway passes right over the brewery so you cant really see it while driving.

Reading Materials... What does everyone suggest?

A good place to look for books is your local Goodwill or thrift store. I stopped in there to look for lids for my keggles. Walking to the register to pay I saw an old How To Homebrew book at the end of the isle. I turned the corner and found 8 different beer or brewing books for less than 20...
