    Help my IPA!

Well, you have 3 oz. of hops on your post that you wanted to use, and when you convert the grams into ounces it only equals a little over 2 oz. And you mixed them all up to begin with? Who knows what is going on....

If you can make it to Milwaukee, Lakefront brewery is great. There is also Sprecher brewery, which is so so. If you are looking to buy beer, Discount Liquor is the place to go.

    Guess this brew !

A common practice these days is to do just what mentioned above. Unless bulk aging, dry hopping, adding fruit, etc., a lot of people just let it ride in primary. Transferring it is fine though as well. Just be sanitary. :mug:

    Sway me...

The only real advantage to liquid yeast is strain availability. There are only so many dry strains, yet many liquid. As long as you aren't wanting yeast characteristics in your beer, dry will suffice.

Northern Brewer is pretty great. I've never dealt with Austin Homebrew Supply, but I have heard they are good too.

Sounds like yeast rafts. But without a picture, it is hard to be sure.

    Cider intervention needed!

To calculate ABV you need a starting gravity and a final gravity. Cider will finish at 1.0 or below. Without a hydrometer reading before fermentation takes place, it will be hard to figure out what the alcohol content is.

No Carbonation after 12 Weeks. Any ideas?

Sounds dumb, but are you positive you added the priming solution? There is always trapped C02 in beer which could explain the small hiss when you open them. Stranger things have happened...

    Simcoe/Amarillo IPA recipe critique

Good point. I do like Simcoe for bittering though. I will add another 1 oz. Simcoe hop addition at 5 minutes. It will add a little to the IBU's, but not too much. Seem reasonable?
