    Yes the outlet was open, I switched it to my old single regulator because I don't have anything in my second keg right now but still not sure why my one regulator is creeping it did not start until yesterday and it's only a couple months old .... Is there a way to fix it ? i.e. a rebuild kit?

    All, So I kegged an ipa yesterday and set my regulator to 10psi and when I woke up this morning it said 60psi on my regulator. So my questions is ...is my regulator broken and even more important have I ruined my beer at that psi.... Thanks in advance!!!!

    Thanks .... Is keeping the temp control (lower than normal) important when u leave it that long ... I use a swamp cooler I can get swmbo to swap frozen water bottles for me when I'm away

    Found out today I have to be out of town for 6 weeks for work. My question is what style beer can I brew next weekend that can sit on the yeast cake for 6 weeks without affecting it. I brew 5 gallon batches in buckets.

    Will this work as a no rinse sanitizer?

    Star San directions say 1 oz per 5 gallons so if u figure one mixture for brew day and one for bottling day that would give you 16 batches but that is assuming you make up 5 gallons of sanitizer which is not needed IMO except for bottling day and even then you can get by with less

    Thanks I appreciate all the help I'm going to take gravity reading should be at final seeing that a week ago it was basically there 1.014 ( kit says 1.010 to 1.012 is final) and dry hop for 5 to 7 days then bottle. Hope my first batch turns out good !!!
