I picked up this old BM 23 off craigslist for $100
All parts work and it gets cold.
Was filthy and scaly and smelled like an old VFW hall!! So a full day of cleaning.
Got me to this:
I hated the wood grain so I wrapped it in Matte black and cut some chrome vinyl
Ended up with this...
I got a Beverage Air bm23 (old superior re-labeled brown one) off craigslist
Paid $100. I'm pretty happy
No issues
Get's cold
Door seal is good
Fans work
All parts are there.
I may change to a double tap tower
Co2 tank and regulator. (need to trade outdated tank at welding supply)...
I have a 5 gallon AG setup. I am content with it for now.
5 gal igloo HLT
5 gal igloo Mash Tun
8 gal brew kettle. Propane burner
my neighbor just gave me 1 sanke keg.
eventually I will get 2 more but not in the near future.
In your opinion What is the most practical conversion for it...
Got to clean and sanitize but it flows very well. I drilled holes on the bottom instead of cutting slits. Have to try with grains and see if it gets stuck. Got extra pipe if it does and I go with slits.
AHHHHH. I can usually repair our well stuff and R.O. system myself. I believe I have to actually call a professional for this one.
So much for the weekend brew. Or our Superbowl party or showering. :confused:

I picked up an extract kit of this Kölschbier.
Since I had an empty primary just sitting around. It's an Ale but it's supposed to have different Characteristics? Figured I'd brew it up.
Anyone have any feedback on this type of beer?

Still not finished with my keezer build. Waiting on Parts.
Had to bottle my last batch of American Ale.
It's just sitting there Teasing me all Flat and not ready.
Ahhhh... Can't wait to finish the keezer or I may do some emergency non carbonated beer drinking. :mad:
