    So I just finished some of this up and the taste is great. Very sweet. Better than I anticipated. The only thing I didn't care for was the texture of it. Is there a way to take some of the chalkiness out of it?

    Whole frozen blackberries. About 1.5-2 lbs. Thawed them before using them, obviously.

    So, I'm new to this, but I've already got a gallon of JAOM going and it's been bubbling away just fine for a couple weeks now. I just started a gallon of blackberry melomel a little while ago. Based on the advice of the guys at my LHBS I poured the must in the primary on top of the blackberries...
