I always test my pump before brew day. If it is making a strange noise, I take it apart and spray it with Di-Electric Grease Electrical Grade. Works every time!

I brew first thing in the morning. My Anvil Foundry allows me the set the start time the night before and I am ready to mash in. The 240v system saves me a lot of time getting it up to boil.
Your getting more than just a pump with the recirculation kit. I like the screen that comes with the kit to distribute flow for recirculation and sparging. I feel that this pump is better than the March pump I had.
