    Just poured it through the strainer, into the secondary fermentation bucket, with the pears already added.

    Use of Pears

    I simply sliced my pears in the food processor, froze overnight and let stand out, in room temp for about 7 - 8 hours. I added them to the 2nd fermentation bucket. When I bottled, I poured the 2nd fermentation through a strainer, into the bottling bucket.

    Pears Added to Beer

    I finished bottling my beer almost two weeks ago. I have sampled a few bottles since then and I am getting a perry, cider, tasting product. Is this how it will stay? I have actually made a pear cider, haven't I?
