    How much homebrew do you currently have in bottles/keg?

    about 6.5 gallons in bottles, brown ale and IPA 10 gallons in primary, DIPA and a brown/black IPA (don't know color yet, lol)

    Westvleteren 12 US Release

    Not sure I would jump on this one. Is it bad to say I got kind of tired of Belgian beers when I was living in Europe?

    Cleaning Bottles

    If you rinse your bottles well with hot water after pouring one can you simply give another hot water rinse before sanitizing? I've been doing this and have yet to have any problems. Am I just testing my luck here?

    Beer bucket explosion! (picture)

    I had that happen once. My primary was in my clothes closet, and I noticed one night that foam was coming out of the airlock. It was late and I didn't think to move to a blow off tube and instead simply moved the bucket to the kitchen. Woke up the next morning to beer all over the kitchen...

    Specialty IPA: Brown IPA Beehemel's India Brown Ale

    Well, I will see how it comes out, and in the future if I decide to brew this again I might consider adding the sugar. How would adding 0.5 lb of muscavado sugar affect the recipe? Would I need to up the hop additions?

    I brewed this on saturday. The carafa III seemed to make the wort pretty dark, and I am interested to see how it finally comes out. I had to substitute centennial for the amarillo. Have you ever tried adding a half pound or so of Muscavado to this recipe?
