    Carboy Size: Single Vessel Fermentation

    So as some have suggested on this forum, I do my entire fermentation in one carboy. No secondary. My question is, for this style brewing, what is the ideal size carboy?

    I am currently brewing a pliny the elder clone which called for a lot of hops; 7 oz during boil and 5 oz dry hop! As a result, I have a huge amount of trub/hop residue in my carboy...
