    You Make the Call....

    I was thinking it was a PH issues as well. You mashed with alot of dark malts as well as added 2 tsp of gypsum. Both those things reduce the PH of the water. I am not sure if that is exactly what the problem is, but it is something to think about. Todd

    "malted" or "roasted" barley

    AG technique(s)?

    This is what I do so I can still use the kitchen stove and do full AG brewing. I have a 7 gallon cooler for a mash tun so the gravity of the beer I do is somewhat limited. The only thing that would force me to brew outside is if my wife continues to complain about the smell of the hops when...

    Hello, I have been brewing for about 5 years and can't seem to stop. I have about 15 AG brews under my belt and about as many Extract ones as well. I like aquiring as much information as I can about brewing.....and giving some where I can. Hope to talk to you all soon. Cheers:mug: Todd
