    Moving, need some help.

Ok I'm moving and I'm losing a fridge. Currently I have 3 cornys in a fridge and I'm losing that fridge. I need to transport a supply of frozen foods and I have a chest freezer I originally bought to turn into a keezer, but haven't done it and it's housing some sub zero ribs. Do I need to keep...

    Really low gravity

So I had 2 Belgians going, similar starting gravities, one went forever and still has krausen floating on top, the other, after 2 weeks has no krausen floating, bit fat yeast cake, and seems finished. AHB website says it should have gone to 1.012, mines at 1.007. Is that within the realm...

What could have gone wrong with my white house porter

Cool, I'll let it sit in the keg and see what happens. I have a lager I made that came out great, and I have another pumpkin ale that's fermenting though it's high ABV so it won't be ready in time, if it goes does not come back to life in the next couple weeks, I'll dump and prepare for the pumpkin.

What could have gone wrong with my white house porter

Do infections occur with no appearance? The beer looked perfect.

What could have gone wrong with my white house porter

I made the white house honey porter with the northern brewer kit. It tastes bitter, bland, just a sad beer. My guests faces puckered, it isn't skunky, it is bitter and maybe even a tiny bit sour. We brewed it to spec, it fermented like crazy... but that's when things got crazy, I put it...

    Brewers best kit belgian triple

Just as a heads up, after a couple more weeks in the bottle the beer is really good now. I am very happy with it, next time, I'll let it sit in the bottle longer before drinking. It was my first beer, so I was overly excited to get at it.

    Brewing in miami...?

I bought a johnson temp controller and found a cheap fridge on craigslist, it isn't ideal, the fridge can only hold 1 carboy since it has a freezer side, but it works, making my first lager right now. I may be able to fit 2 if I pull out all of the compartments and setup 2 tiers, just haven't...

Pot beer could be next high for some home brewers

Nah the boil doesn't kill THC, I knew a guy that made pot butter by simmering it in a skillet with butter and skimming the solids off the top, he would bake cookies, eat them before work, and sleep at his desk. Appeared to work quite well. So it survived skillet simmering and baking, that's...

    Brewers best kit belgian triple

Yeah I actually just popped one of mine, carbonation is going well but it's sweet, thick. I was drinking it room temperature to get the full flavor profile (75f) and it's a bit banana smelling, hint in the taste but not gross. If I had to do it again I would let it sit in primary longer and...

    Brewers best kit belgian triple

This was my first beer and had similar problems, I used the dry yeast and fermentation stopped, similar temps mine was fluctuating between 69-72, stopped rather quick after it's move to secondary. Mine finally fell to 1.24 and I bottled it, I would have waited but I don't have that much gear and...
