    This years club contest paddle

Yeah the elbow is possibly concerning but I overlapped the joint so there is some overlapping structure on either side of it so... fingers crossed :) The winner was planning to use it eventually so I suppose I'll find out one way or the other :tank:. The one I made last year was most...

    This years club contest paddle

Something a little fun and different I made for this years club contest prize paddle. I do fear it may be a bit tricky to clean... but it was fun to carve. Back Front Clavicle :pipe:

    Homemade Mash Paddle Pics

Hey wilserbewer, Obviously it depends somewhat on what you have available and how you like to work. You could do it all with tools-with-tails (like a foredom power carver) but I tend to work a bit more on the hand tool side because its somewhat about the process. In this case I did the...

Have had good success with US-04 for dry yeast and make a really fantastic batch with white labs "farmhouse blend"...

Is your Keezer Killing your Wallet?

Completely anecdotal but just for the record here's what I did and how it worked out. When I built my coffin I put a frame around the corners of the freezer to stand the skin off by about 3/8" (so not a lot but some) and left air gaps of the same size at the back and bottom of the side panels...
